Certain cardiovascular or respiratory disease can worsen during sleep , that is to say, the time when our body has a different operation of awakening.

  Among more than 80 diseases affecting the course of sleep , insomnia regularly affects nearly 15% of the population is obviously the most common. Most of us suffer at one time or another , more or less prolonged .

  Other diseases occurring during sleep can in turn be the cause of excessive sleepiness during the day with serious consequences such as falling asleep while driving or at work, or more insidious : reduced performance in school or work, psychological , relational, family or social .
